Orrick capped a two-game homestand on Tuesday in varsity girls and boys basketball. It started Jan. 30 with a non-conference meeting with Winston, followed by a court warming and I-70 Conference meeting with Crest Ridge on Groundhog Day. The girls fell 53-12 to Winston and 43-25 to Crest Ridge. The boys split, holding off then-undefeated Winston 43-33 and falling to Crest Ridge 56-53.
