Welcoming our 53rd District state representative
Republican Terry Thompson seeks to run for re-election to the Missouri House of Representatives to represent District 53, this time in November’s general election. He is running unopposed.
The Richmond News gathered some information on Thompson and asked a few questions: BACKGROUND
Thompson, 69, lives in Lexington, where he received his education and raised his family with his wife Marcia. He has two children, Charity and Austin; and a grandson, Owen. He graduated from Lexington High School, attended Wentworth Military Academy and got his B.A. in business administration from the University of Central Missouri.
Thompson has 40 years of executive management experience in rural banking. He also spends a lot of his time serving his community and volunteering for local organizations.
