Each November, the Richmond Fire Department’s truck bays transform into a lively community hall filled with laughter, friendly competition and the unmistakable spirit of giving. The annual Turkey Bingo fundraiser has become a small-town tradition drawing families together not just to play bingo but to support the firefighters who serve them year-round. This year’s event, the third annual, will be held Nov. 8 at the Richmond Fire Department. Food will be served beginning at 5 p.m. and bingo games will start at 6 p.m. Attendance last year reached nearly 100 people and organizers are hoping for an even bigger turnout this time.
