Tornado touches down in Hardin
Extreme weather which produced a tornado swept through Hardin last Friday, according to Ray County Sheriff Scott Childers.
“We were told an eyewitness saw one cross Hwy 10,” said Childers. “We did have two houses damaged north of Hardin on Hwy A that was possibly caused by a small tornado.”
When storm conditions began, Childers created a Facebook post to warn Ray Countians of the high winds and noted deputies would assist with any debris left behind.
Attorney General’s Office Communications Director Maddie Sieren shared Attorney General Andrew Bailey’s statement through a press release.
“My prayers are with the Missourians affected by the tornadoes that struck Ray, Saline and Knox counties this weekend, especially those who were injured,” said Bailey.
