State leaders join agriculture partners for Drive to Feed Kids launch

Missouri agricultural leaders recently joined Gov. Mike Kehoe, First Lady Claudia Kehoe and members of the Missouri House and Senate, including Sen. Curtis Gregory, at the State Capitol to pack 15,000 meals for foodinsecure Missourians. The event was part of the yearlong Missouri Farmers Care Foundation Drive to Feed Kids, presented in partnership with Brown- field Ag News and ADM. “Drive to Feed Kids is Missouri agriculture putting compassion into action,” said Missouri Farmers Care Foundation Executive Director Ashley McCarty. “Farmers, ranchers and agribusinesses are committed to producing the products we depend on to sustain us while bridging the gap, so every child has the nourishment they need to learn, grow and thrive.” One in seven children in Missouri are food insecure.
