Jim Rich and partner Stephen Vartanian are seeing a wave of community support for Spartan Tint, their car tint shop, located in the previously known “Art and Soul” building at 812 E. Main St. in Richmond. “From our humble beginnings, and with the graciousness of Denny Hess letting us use his detailing shop for our business, it is really turning into something special,” Rich said. Since opening in February, “the community support has been fantastic,” with Spartan Tint serving more than 300 local residents, Rich said. “We started slow to assure quality in production and installation,” he said.
