Robinson’s bond hearing date set for May 23
Escapee Justin Robinson bond appearance hearing with Judge Lori Baskins presiding has been set for 8:30 a.m. May 23 at the Ray County Circuit Court.
The 39-year-old escapee was transported to the Clay County Detention Center in Liberty by Homeland Security Investigations from Tulsa, Okla., where he was being held following his arrest by the U.S. Marshals Service.
Convicts Liam Olinger, 20, and Robinson escaped from the Ray County Jail last month. Olinger and Robinson were each charged with two felonies – escape or attempted escape from confinement with a deadly weapon and second-degree assault. Olinger is currently being held in Platte County.
Ray County Sheriff Scott Childers said his office pays nearly $65 per day to each holding center to house the inmates.
