RMA helping connect churches to people

At least 22 churches have a Richmond address, according to the City of Richmond website. 1. Broaden the view to include the Hardin, Orrick, Polo, Henrietta and Lexington areas, and that number climbs. We can see how significant religion is to Ray County. But what do all these churches do? Of course, they have Sunday services and regular activities for the members of the congregation to experience, but what are the churches up to in the community outside their walls? Many churches combine their efforts to better serve others. The Richmond Ministerial Alliance (RMA) helps coordinate some of these efforts, but they are not alone in this work. While this article highlights the ministry of this alliance, in future editions you will be able to see regular updates on how churches of all styles and creeds team up to connect with the people around them.
