TUESDAY, MAY 19 At 1:15 a.m., a motor vehicle crash was reported in the 300 block of East South Street. A parked 2012 GMC Yukon, owned by Thomas Murphy, 42, of Richmond was struck by a stolen 1999 Ford F-250 in which the unknown driver traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck the Murphy vehicle causing extensive damage to the Murphy vehicle. The driver of the Ford truck fled the scene in the truck and the truck was recovered a few blocks away. The unknown driver had already fled on foot. Investigation continues. At 3:42 a.m., in the 600 block of East Main Street, a complainant reported their vehicle stolen. Investigation continues.
