Richmond High observes Supervised Ag Experience Day
RICHMOND – The agriculture education classes and FFA chapter have put on Supervised Agriculture Experience, or SAE, Day for several years.
SAE Day is a day set aside from normal classroom instruction for students in an agriculture class who have a high-quality SAE project to teach other students about. They also encourage students to start their own SAE projects. This year’s SAE Day occurred Oct. 7.
“This year, we had 13 students volunteer to spend a day teaching their fellow classmates about their SAE in hopes that the students may find it interesting and want to start or learn more about it,” FFA information states. “We had two students bring in different breeds of goats and shared how they care for the animals and everything they may need in order to start raising goats.”
