Handicap accessibility has been a hot topic at Ray County Commissioners meetings in weeks past. A Rayville resident went before the group once more during a recent meeting, requesting parking restrictions be enforced at the Ray County Courthouse. Rayville resident Julie Nelson spoke to commissioners about handicap accessibility around the square and asked the commissioners to enforce parking restrictions for courthouse personnel. Nelson said half circle drive on the west side of the courthouse is blocked by the Ray County Sheriff’s Office vehicles.
