My family and I have been enjoying the long days of summer and all the activities that go along with living in the 39th District by attending fairs, festivals, picnics and socials, a real treat after a long year of cancellations. I hope your family is enjoying your summer and has stayed healthy and safe. The governor has finished signing the bills that were truly agreed to and finally passed in the 2021 regular session. In all, there were two bills related to agriculture, one to alcohol, one for banking, one for education, one regarding elections, one regarding guns, four related to insurance, five related to kids and adoptions, three regarding property/utilities, six on public safety, six on taxes, three on transportation, three related to veterans, one on workmen’s compensation and 13 considered miscellaneous items.
