Topics of discussion included Amendment 3 definitions, zoning, the county’s three percent from the marijuana county tax, the opioid settlement and the handle with care program. Regarding Amendment Three, Barnes told the audience there are not currently adult marijuana facilities in Ray County. “There are currently not any grow facilities or dispensaries in Ray County,” said Barnes. “The way the rollout is happening is about next year, applications can be submitted for a micro business which can be a standalone, adult-use marijuana facility.
