Gov. Mike Parson has asked legislators to provide additional support and funding for future Missourians interested in choosing a career in law enforcement through a program titled “Missouri Blue Scholarship”. Saying the scholarship has already helped fund the training of 217 Missouri law enforcement recruits, the governor requested that lawmakers approve additional funding of the scholarship program in both a supplemental budget bill and the state operating budget for the next fiscal year.
