The University of Missouri (MU) Extension selected Jessica Trussell, Field Specialist in Human Development and Family Science as its bi-weekly spotlight this week. Trussell has been with MU Extension for 15 years and she is passionate about the role she plays in empowering individuals and families through a variety of educational programs. These programs often intersect with many coalitions and organizations throughout Trussell’s coverage area as MU Extension and local partners strive to improve the quality of life for their communities. In her role, Trussell is known for her focus on aging well. This includes programs such as WITS Workout, A Matter of Balance, and Living a Healthy Life.
