MoDOT holding meeting to discuss intersection improvements

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) Kansas City will hold an open housestyle meeting to discuss intersection improvements at the intersection of Missouri Route D and U.S. Route 69 Highways in Lawson. Rising traffic volumes on Route D and 69, particularly during peak hours, necessitate improving the traffic flow at the intersection. The meeting, which will provide the opportunity for attendees to ask questions, learn more about the project, and leave a comment, will be held from 4-7 p.m. March 27 at Lawson City Hall, located at 103 South Pennsylvania Avenue. The meeting will be an open house meeting with no formal presentation. Following the public meeting, there will also be an opportunity to view project displays and exhibits and leave comments on the project webpage from 4 p.m. March 27 until 4 p.m. April 10.
