McGaugh outlines state spending, key bills
With the first regular session of Missouri’s 103rd General Assembly now adjourned, Missouri House District Seven State Rep. Peggy McGaugh has issued her 2025 End-of-Session Report, providing a detailed summary of legislation passed and outlining how the state’s $52.7 billion operating budget will be allocated in the coming fiscal year.
The report includes a complete list of every bill truly agreed and finally passed by both chambers. These bills are now awaiting the governor’s action and, unless vetoed or assigned a different effective date, will become law on Aug. 28.
McGaugh noted the input she received from constituents helped guide her work throughout the legislative session.
“Hearing your views and receiving input from so many citizens in our district made a difference when it came time for me to vote,” said McGaugh.
