Local museum shares scares

The Ray County Museum partnered with Apex Paranormal (AP) of Kansas City and hosted a museum tour and ghost hunting. AP Founder Elijah Buchholz, AP Research Specialist Shannon Johnson, Lillian Buchholz – Elijah’s daughter, and AP Research Specialist Jenni Panethiere led the ghost hunters. “We’ve been a team for about 12 years or so. Mainly, what we do is travel across the country and film a television show called Apex Chronicles. Not all of the episodes are free, but a lot of them are on YouTube,” said Elijah. “Once in a while, we take a break from filming, and in October we share a passion for the paranormal. A great thing is we can partner with local historical sites and raise funds for them.” Part of the ticket sales from the ghost nights went back to the Ray County Historical Society (RCHS).
