The Richmond Kiwanis Club is excited to announce a fundraising event following the completion of two signature 2024 projects. In the spring, club members will host a Sip and Snack outing where participants will enjoy small samples of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at six different stations in a local venue. More details will be announced soon. Recently, the club celebrated Halloween by hosting local families at the Trick or Treat Street event at the Richmond Fire Department. After collecting candy, children were treated to hot dogs, chips and bottled water provided by Kiwanis members. The club served approximately 400 hot dogs as part of an ongoing initiative to support local youth. Local Kiwanians also participated in a national project by distributing dictionaries to third graders at Richmond’s Sunrise Elementary School and Hardin-Central Elementary School.
