RICHMOND – Online criticism targeted Richmond School District teachers who “jumped the line” by receiving the COVID-19 vaccine before being designated as eligible by the state, but the criticism is based on incomplete information, district Superintendent Greg Darling said. “My elderly father is still waiting who is diabetic, has had double-bypass surgery and just had cancer treatments. I’d like to see Ray County’s plan,” one person posted online. Another posted, “It is disappointing that our school district would ‘jump the line’ to get in front of the most vulnerable in our population.
