Inmates work on courthouse
SOPHIA BALES | Staff RAY COUNTY Jail inmates Montana Meierer (from left), Christopher Graham, Dillion Eddie and Gregory Lee worked outside the Ray County Courthouse to improve the concrete and clean up. The improvements cost $600 from the Capital Improvement Fund, said Ray County Presiding Commissioner Billy Gaines. “It helps the inmates take ownership in doing work and helps the county to cut costs while making our courthouse easier to move around and have an improved appearance,” he said.
