William “Max” Hockemeier is facing incumbent Dave Powell for a seat on the Ray County Commission, Eastern District. The Richmond News posed a series of questions to both candidates: BACKGROUND Hockemeier: 72, has 14 years of education and is a farmer Powell: 73, of Richmond, has three years of college education and is currently self-employed.
