Hawley, Kehoe victorious
Ray County voters followed the majority of those casting ballots in the Missouri Senate and governor’s statewide races.
Unofficial general election results have now been published, detailing the outcomes of these and other various positions.
Missouri Republican Senator Josh Hawley has successfully retained his seat in the U.S. Senate, continuing his fiveyear tenure.
Meanwhile, Republican Mike Kehoe claimed victory in the race for Missouri governor.
Other election results have also been revealed, shedding light on the political landscape following Hawley secured the U.S. Senate position with 1,639,359 votes or 55.54%, defeating Democrat Lucas Kunce, who received 1,234,159 votes, representing 41.81%. Other candidates bowing to Hawley included Libertarian W. C. Young, with 35,414 votes or 1.20%; Better Party Jared Young, with 20,918 votes or 0.70%; Green Party Nathan Kline, with 19,899 or 0.67%. Moreover, there were 1,480 write-in votes for the position, representing 0.05%.
