HARDIN SESQUICENTENNIAL
AMONG THE ACTIVITIES for Hardin’s 150th anniversary celebration is a bounce house, which gets a workout from Jensen Finley, 8.
THE FFA BREAKFAST at Hardin-Central High School includes a variety of fruit provided by agriculture instructor Joe Robinson.
HARDIN-CENTRAL High School student Morgan Finley, 17, secretary of the school’s FFA group, prepares pancakes for scores of breakfast guests.
AFTER BREAKFAST, provided by the FFA at Hardin-Central, the Noelker sisters – twins Nora and Piper, 7; and Wren, 5 – are ready to head downtown to view vendors’ wares and for entertainment, including “bounce” stations.
THE HARDIN SESQUICENTENNIAL Car Show attracts dozens of guests from across the area, including Lana and Al Hoffman, Carrollton. They bring a sweet ride, a 1934 Ford Cabriolet.
MORE THAN CARS, the vehicles brought to Hardin’s 150th anniversary celebration include a 1655 Oliver tractor, built in 1972, and still operated by Brandon Lam. J.C. VENTIMIGLIA | Staff
