Hardin-Central tradition resumes with all-class banquet

Editor’s note: This is the final of a two-part series on the 2025 Hardin-Central All-School Reunion, looking at its history, the planning process and the event’s opening program. Part one, published Sept. 5, featured the tributes, keynote address, after-party and lasting meaning of the event. The spirit of community recently filled the Hardin-Central gymnasium as nearly 300 alumni gathered for the 2025 All-School Reunion, marking the first such event since the COVID-19 pandemic delayed the tradition. The all-class reunion has been a part of Hardin-Central history for almost 50 years. “The first Hardin-Central High School (HCHS) All-School Reunion took place in 1976 and reunions have taken place every five years, until the 2021 event was postponed by Covid.
