GROUND TO THE GROUND
NOT MAJESTIC, but admirable for solidity, the old Ray-Carroll grain elevator in Richmond takes weeks to demolish. The first image dates to Feb. 9. The second shows the 1-ton wrecking ball that is set to strike. Taken Feb. 15, the third image shows significant destruction.
TEARING DOWN the unused Ray-Carroll grain elevator on Old Highway 10, Richmond, takes Earthworks Excavating, Higginsville, a couple of weeks. But wrecking is not all the job requires.
