Many families in Ray County struggle to meet their basic needs due to various financial challenges. As a result, essential items such as diapers, hygiene products and personal care items can often become a significant burden, leading to difficult choices between basic necessities. To address these pressing issues, the GAP Assistance Program of Ray County, Inc. was established. According to the program’s 2024 Annual Report, its impact on the community has been nothing short of transformative. Over the past year, GAP served 829 families, ensuring they received the support necessary to maintain hygiene and dignity.
