GAP reports astounding 2024 assistance numbers
Many families in Ray County struggle to meet their basic needs due to various financial challenges. As a result, essential items such as diapers, hygiene products and personal care items can often become a significant burden, leading to difficult choices between basic necessities. To address these pressing issues, the GAP Assistance Program of Ray County, Inc. was established.
According to the program’s 2024 Annual Report, its impact on the community has been nothing short of transformative. Over the past year, GAP served 829 families, ensuring they received the support necessary to maintain hygiene and dignity. The numbers speak volumes: 9,791 diapers distributed, 2,746 women’s personal care products delivered and 740 packs of adult disposable underwear provided.
