An Excelsior Springs woman has been granted release while facing a weapons charge and additional drug-related allegations in Ray County. Jamie L. McDaniel, 43, is charged with three felonies, including unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She recently entered a not guilty plea to the charges and requested a bond modification before Eighth Judi - cial Circuit Court Judge Lori J. Baskins. Baskins agreed to modify the $10,000 bond and release McDaniel on her own recognizance. She will appear for a docket call at 9:30 a.m. on March 10. On Feb. 6, Missouri State Highway Patrol Cpl. D.
