Long-standing district regulations outlining library material selection and homeschooled student eligibility for activities governed by the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) could soon be rescinded or revised under a statewide policy update. During a recent meeting, the Richmond R-XVI Board of Education conducted a first reading of the Missouri School Boards’Association’s (MSBA) 2025E policy update. The measure was presented for review and no formal adoption vote was recorded. The 2025E update is part of a periodic policy revision package issued by MSBA to reflect changes in state law, educational standards and administrative guidance.
