District approves raises, selects new officers
The Richmond R-XVI Board of Education unanimously approved salary increases for all employee categories for the 2025-26 school year. Certified staff will receive a base pay increase from $39,400 to $40,200. Classified employees – including aides, custodians, maintenance workers and secretaries – will see an increase of $0.25 per hour in their respective pay structures.
Administrative staff across the district will receive a 2% salary increase. The approved schedules include building- level administrators and central office leadership. Updates to the activities and coaching stipend schedules were also adopted, covering both athletic and non-athletic extracurricular positions.
Jon Dana was unanimously approved to continue leading the group after being re-elected president during the board’s annual reorganization. Chad Burnine was selected vice president, and Brian Appleberry was named treasurer.
