County students make way at Greenhand event
Thirteen Ray County Future Farmers of America (FFA) students from Richmond and Orrick high schools attended the annual Greenhand Motivational Conferences. Of the 4,500 first-year FFA students in attendance, over 350 represented Missouri high schools.
Students had the opportunity to learn about being good role models, getting involved, making sound choices, becoming active team members and making a positive difference in their lives, school and community Richmond High School (RHS) FFA Advisor Laura Allen was excited for the students to learn.
“Our freshmen students attended this first-year FFA member event. They had a great time learning all about FFA opportunities available to them as members of this wonderful organization,” she said. “Our students came away with many ideas and inspiration to become active in our Richmond FFA chapter.”
