A 31-year-old Richmond man facing three felonies was given a continuance after missing his court date last week. Reny Reis’ defense attorney, Mark Goodwin, claimed to have sent Reis’ court letter to an old address. “It was the address I had at the time. I spoke with him this morning and heard cattle in the background of the call. I told him to get in his car and drive,” said Goodwin. Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Joseph Donald McGaugh scheduled Reis’ next court date for April 19 at 9 a.m. Reis was arrested by Richmond Police Department and charged with three felonies and one misdemeanor after bringing a gun into Richmond Branded Steakhouse on Jan. 25. Reis faces three felony charges of resisting arrest - creating a substantial risk of serious injury/death to any person, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action, as well as a misdemeanor fourth-degree assault charge. Reis was held at the Ray County Jail until he posted a $50,000 bond on Feb. 1. Special conditions…
