Commissioners talk future of old Hwy 13 Bridge

With the talk of the old Missouri Hwy 13 Bridge and its fate in the county – some local Henrietta farmers disagree with discussions between the railroad company and the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT)’s Special Road District. The commissioners have reached out to the railroad companies and farmers with land near the bridge, as well as the Special Road District. The idea from MoDOT has been to close crossings but local farmers don’t like the thought because this is path many of them take to assess their land. The old Missouri Hwy 13 Bridge was built in 1946, according to www.city-data. com.
