A new veterinarian is bringing fresh energy and a deep love for animals to the community, sharing her passion for both pets and people. “I’ve always really liked animals,” stated Dr. Lily Jensen, Renfro Veterinary Services’ newest vet. Becoming a vet wasn’t a straight path. Jensen considered other options several times but always found herself returning to the same dream. “I always wanted to do it. Then I’d go off and do something else and afterward, I’d come back to it,” stated Jensen. “But I kept coming back to it. So finally, I just made the jump.” Jensen earned her veterinary degree from the University of Missouri. While the program was challenging, she had a strong group of classmates who helped her through. “I think I had a good group of study buddies and everything was all right,” said Jensen.
