Mixing and mingling were performed at the Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce after-hours event, hosted by Ray County Memorial Hospital (RCMH). RCMH’s new CEO, Jeff Bloemker, introduced himself to the community members and showed support for the event. Renee Kellerman, Richmond chamber director, said that around 70 people attended and it was a wonderful event. “We are here to tell you some exciting new things and changes that are going to be happening at the hospital. So keep your eyes and ears open. Probably not everything you hear will be true. When change is happening, that is just a part of it,” said RCMH board member Valerie Miller before introducing Bloemker to speak. “I knew there was good quality here, but I didn’t know why.
