Area schools welcome new teachers

Richmond High School teacher Marylee Dewey of Carrollton will be teaching biology and dual credit biology. She is excited about being able to teach the dual credit biology class and having the opportunity to take students to the Missouri Western State University in St Joe for labs at least twice a year. Dewey has a bachelor’s in accounting, a Master’s of Education in learning and technology, and a Master’s of Education in biology. Richmond High School teacher Kelby Hogan of Carrollton will be teaching marketing and business. She is most excited about starting a new career path. Hogan received her education from Missouri Valley College. Richmond High School teacher Zach Baldauf of Hesston, Kan., will be teaching American Government, psychology and sociology. “I am most excited about helping students learn how to become more civically active,” he said.
