Area pastor requests commissioners put restrictions on marijuana usage

With possible starts of marijuana micro businesses in Ray County, First Baptist Church Richmond Pastor Willie Isaacson went searching for answers and requests from Ray County Commissioners Dave Powell, Bob King and Gary Wilhite recently. “I would like to make a few requests of you all to take some action. I have shared previously my experience in Colorado and have already gone through all of this with what Amendment 3 will bring to the community and our state. It will not be a good thing,” said the pastor. Referencing the new marijuana law, Isaacson used the frog and kettle analogy, saying if you put a frog in boiling water, it will jump out; but if you put a frog in water and slowly bring it to a boil, the frog will not perceive the danger and will be cooked to death.
