Area 4-H clubs receive grants

The Missouri Farmers Care Foundation has made a difference by awarding grants to three dedicated local 4-H organizations: Guys & Gals, Lawson and Millville. Each organization is committed to addressing food insecurity in its community. The Drive to Feed Kids initiative, launched in 2017, has created partnerships between non-profit organizations and agricultural clubs, combining their efforts to address this issue. To effectively tackle childhood food insecurity, Missouri Farmers Care has utilized existing food bank distribution networks, ensuring the delivery of nutritious, kid-friendly meals through innovative backpack programs and inschool food pantries.
