JEFFERSON CITY – Missourians can request absentee ballots in the Aug. 4 primary elections. Medicaid expansion proponents urge them to do so in a press release Tuesday. “Vote yes on Amendment 2 to bring home more than a billion of our tax dollars every year and expand Medicaid to Missourians who earn less than $18,000 annually,” Yes on 2 information states. Voters can request absentee ballots from the Ray County Clerk’s Office or the Clay County Election Board in person, by mail, by fax or by email. “Expanding Medicaid in Missouri is the right thing to do, and Medicaid expan sion will help those who need it, including frontline health care workers and those holding essential, low-wage jobs in childcare centers, grocery stores and delivery drivers,” A.
