Ray Countian looks to spread love, revitalize old Henrietta church

Lifelong Ray County resident Beth Conner has taken it upon herself to spread love and positivity in her community by leading what she calls a “love-centered life.” Conner hopes to spread that love and positivity at the old Methodist church in Henrietta, where she lives. Eventually, she wants to hold dinners, camps, retreats and classes there, but it’s not ready for events like that yet, she said.

Misenhelter joins UCM troupe

Myleigh Misenhelter is finished dancing for Richmond High School basketball games, but she’s not finished dancing for sporting events. As the Richmond News reported May 10, Misenhelter has joined the dance team at the University of Central Missouri (UCM), where she’ll perform for football and basketball games, and participate in dance competitions.

POSSIBLE GRAND SLAM Richmond’s Kaylee King could bring home as many as four medals from the Class 3 state track and field meet this weekend. King qualified for the Friday-Saturday meet at Jefferson City by placing in the top four in four girls events at the Sectional 4 meet May 11 at Holden.
