Tahkota Thomas Christiansen

Tahkota Thomas Christiansen, 18, Orrick, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018, in Richmond, after being struck by a vehicle along M-210 Highway.
Tahkota was born on Oct. 6, 2000, in Corning, New York, to Paul Thomas Christiansen and Linda Marie (Stebbins) Alsup. He moved to Orrick in 2012 and attended high school in Orrick. He had been employed at the Richmond KFC and Taco Bell. Tahkota had many interests, including driving around on his moped, and driving tractors on the farm. He loved hanging out with his friends. He loved dogs, especially his dogs, Ozzy and Mila.
Tahkota is survived by his father and stepmother, Paul and Crystal Christiansen of Corning; his mother and stepfather, Linda and Daniel Alsup of Orrick; brothers,  Nathan Cratsley and Joshua Cratsley, both of Corning; sisters, Taryn Alsup, Kinzee Alsup, both of Orrick, and Airyelle Christiansen of Corning.
Survivors also include: his paternal grandmother, Bonnie Morrison of Detroit, Michigan; paternal grandfather, Hale Christiansen of Nashville, Tennessee; maternal grandparents, Henry and Claudienne Stebbins of Corning; stepgrandmother, Alice Alsup of Orrick; his dogs, Ozzy and Mila; and his cat, Chloe.
The family will greet friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at the Gowing Funeral Home, Orrick, followed by funeral services at 2:30 p.m. Cremation will follow the services.
