Five caught in two Richmond drug busts; suspects also face child-endangerment charges

In less than a nine-hour span, the Richmond Police Department arrested five people in two separate drug busts that netted nearly 800 grams of marijuana, more than 10 grams of cocaine and 82 grams of tetrahydrocannabinol-infused gummy bears last week. THC is the chemical compound in the cannabis plant that causes a euphoric high.

Charges also included endangering the welfare of three children.

Danielle Kendell Ackley, 21; Drake Ryan Ackley, 29; and Anthony Louis Guzman, 22, all of 108 S. College St., were each charged with four C felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance; one E felony of manufacturing less than 35 grams of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid; one count of endangering the welfare of a child involving drugs, a D felony; and one misdemeanor D for unlawful drug paraphernalia.

Joseph David Lee Grieme, 17, and Justice Denee Dothage, 19, of 1101 S. Camden St., were each charged with two C felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance, two D felony counts of endangering the welfare of a child involving drugs and one misdemeanor for unlawful drug paraphernalia.

All five are being held at Ray County Jail on $50,000 cash-only bonds.
