The Rev. Welker was a well-loved minister for more than 60 years. The past 40 years he has been in the Richmond area.  He was pastor of the First Church of God.   He was a member of the general eldership for the First Church of God in Findley, Ohio.  He was known for his love of God and family.  Robert pulled double-duty working as a full-time butcher at several of the area grocery stores and as pastor of the church in Richmond.  He was a huge Missouri Tigers basketball fan. He enjoyed gardening and he loved fried chicken and bologna, and was very particular about the way his hair looked. He was a selfless person, always putting others before himself. Bob especially loved Helen, his wife of 66 years.

The family suggests memorials be made to the donor’s choice.
