Outpatient facility at RCMH offers cardiac rehab

You’ve had a heart attack, stroke or some other heart-related event. The surgery is done and the physician has ordered therapy as the next step.

The process of facing physical therapy after having had a heart event can be daunting, but it also gets you on the road to recovery.

For those in need of cardiovascular therapy, services are available right in our own backyard at Ray County Memorial Hospital.

“We have 15 different clinics,” said Outpatient Clinic Supervisor Susan Mohn, a registered nurse. “All of those are specialty clinics.”

Some of those specialty clinics address cardiovascular recovery and health: pulmonary, cardiology and vascular.
