Spartans fall to Carrollton, Chillicothe

A full roster helped Chillicothe take both ends of a triangular with the Spartans and Carrollton Tuesday night in the RHS gym. The Spartans, hosting their first dual of the season, lost to MRVC East rival Carrollton 36-30, and ended the night with a 56-21 loss to the Hornets. Chillicothe rolled past Carrollton 62-15 in the second dual of the night.

Once again Richmond gave up opens in eight weight classes. Carrollton was open in six classes while the Hornets had wrestlers in each division.

The Spartans won two of the four contested matches with Carrollton.
