The second annual Shop with a Sheriff kicked off Wednesday evening with five families, 17 children, seven Ray County deputies, the sheriff and a few other elves to help the children choose gifts at Walmart.

Sheriff Garry Bush said the goal is to teach underprivileged children the importance of giving and for them to experience the joy that comes with giving.
