Manhunt continues for suspected armed felon

A manhunt continues for Aaron Joe Rogers, who officials say is armed and dangerous, after he engaged in a high-speed chase involving multiple law enforcement agencies with juveniles in tow Saturday.

The pursuit began at about 1:30 p.m. Saturday when Rogers, of Camden, allegedly tried to run his vehicle head-on into a Ray County deputy’s patrol vehicle, according to the Ray County Sheriff’s office. The chase carried over into Carroll County; Carroll County deputies, the Hardin Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted during the pursuit.
