Ronnie Joe Williams. 55, of Orrick, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2017, in Warsaw.

Ronnie was born Aug. 3, 1962, in Kansas City, Mo., to Huey E. and Vera B. (Collins) Williams. He married Janie A. Snelling, of Richmond, May 13, 1989; she survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: his father, Huey E. Williams, of Orrick; one son, Robert L. Welker III, of Excelsior Springs; one daughter, Monique Welker, of Osceola; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Bruce and Connie Welch, of Urbana, Glenn and Jennifer Welch, of Kansas City, Mo., and Melvin Williams, of Kansas City, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Savannah Hutchison, Thaddeus Wilson, Robert Welker IIII, Sierra Halsted, Lucian Welker, Lilly Baker and Violette Baker; one great-grandson, Chandler; and his canine companions, Bonnie, Clyde and Ranger.

In addition to his mother, Ronnie was preceded in death by one sister, Pamela Cantrell; and two canine companions, Buddy and Dante.

Ronnie was a 1981 graduate of Orrick High School. He worked for Guy’s Foods in Liberty. He also worked at Forbo Chemical Plant in Fairfax, Kan. before retiring in 2013. Ronnie loved hunting, fishing and spending time at the lake with his family and dogs. He lived in Orrick most of his life.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Wayside Waifs.
