Miller presides over final drug court graduation ceremony

Ray County’s drug court graduation ceremony Friday at the Ray County Courthouse wasn’t a typical graduation ceremony for Judge David Miller.

That was because it marked the last time he would preside over a drug court graduation ceremony.

Miller will retire from the Missouri Eighth Circuit Court bench Oct. 5 – the day before his 70th birthday. State law requires judges to retire at age 70, he said.
