Orrick Lions donate to Veterans Community Project

The Orrick Lions Club provided financial support for a Kansas City project to provide housing for homeless veterans.

Lion Ken Arnold of the Orrick Lions Club, who is a knife maker, made a knife that was raffled off during a fundraiser. Those funds were designated to the Veterans Community Project.

Kevin Jamison, co-founder of the Veterans Community Project, received a $500 check from the Orrick Lions Club on May 16.

“The Orrick Lions Club is proud to support this project,” said Kenny Goetz, a member of the Orrick Lions Club.
